help breaking apart into 3 pieces

can someone please break this candy corn apart into 3 pieces so that I can have top part white, middle orange and bottom yellow? I am having the hardest time with this simple little task. I can break apart the top, but cant break apart the middle and bottom. thanks so much for your help.

Awesome! I was in the middle of making a Halloween project and "Corny and Sweet" popped into my head. I decided to make a box and decorate it with the saying and add candy corn. Just what I needed!

I had to take the image into inkscape to get the bottom two apart because on coner was not completely seperated
