Enjoy :D ... My sister was looking for a pattern to make a wood cutout of a little dutch girl. .so I said I was up for the challenge of making her a cutout.. This is what I came up with :D ...

That looks like it will make a wonderful wood cutout. It looks just like the one on my grandmothers spice jars

I was trying to find the original cutout but I couldn't so this had to settle. I'm sure she'll love it... :D This one was from an embroidery design.. I made some changes to it..

Aww Amy.. she's cute.. That is another that I was going to originally do..lOL.. thanks for sharing.. I may end up doing her as well and let my sis pick and choose..

Amy did you use inkscape to do you dutchgirl in ?? I can seem to move her when I download her to inkscape..

Jo-Anne,

Amy did it in layers in Inkscape and most of them are locked. If you open the layers menu or use the one on the bottom of Ink you can start pulling apart the layers.

I love her! I used to do those wood stakes for holidays. I had patterns and cut them out with my trusty scroll saw. Lots of fun and they make great gifts. I have pumpkins, ghosts for the yard, I even did a couple of reindeer for Christmas, HMMMMM It is July and everyone knows you have to start your Christmas projects in July.
