Inkscape and or adobe illistrator

Can I download Inkscape and or Adobe Illustrator to a memory stick and when I would want to use that program just insert stick in a USB Port ?? Just so it doesn't take space up on hard drive ??
I have download some terrific cupcake wrappers all in PDF files and need to covert for Scal use

There is a seperate inkscape,called inkscape portable,that will run from an usb drive.

I posted the link I did, because it is the company that developed inkscape.
While your there,check out their forums.There are some great examples of
what can be done with inkscape.

Thanks alot - just picked up a couple flash drives will try downloading from your link tomorrow. It will take forever to use I know nothing about inkscape - it sounds so complicated listening to everybody talk about it.
