NEWBIE IN DEEP TROUBLE!

Post by PhotoMom »

HA HA HA Ok, maybe not that bad, but working in SCAL for the first time and totally confused!!! Trying to do a rectangle bookmark with a baby carriage at the top but make it all one piece. SO, I want to remove the top line of the rectangle, so that the machine does not put a cut there. HELP! Cannot figure out how to do that!!!
Thanks in advance,
Monica :)

Line up the carriage and rectangle the way you want them, select both and then click the path menu and choose union. You should see the line disappear if you have overlapped the carriage and rectangle.

THANK YOU!!! Who would have thought it would be so easy!!! :) :) Thank you so much! The bookmarks turned out adorable!!! :) Tell me how to post and I will share! :) (Actually think I figured that out!, maybe!) It cuts 3 on an 8.5x11 page. :) Not bad for a VERY FIRST PROJECT! :)

Monica, I tried downloading your file and all the appears are a bunch of crazy lines. I have SCUT2 so it can't be a version problem.
