Thanks so much for sharing....I totally agree in regards to Inkscape. I'm not having too much luck with it either. I so wish that it wasn't needed when I want to try and create something.

Althea have you tried to update your SCAL? It overrides what you currently have so you don't have to uninstall anything.

I don't feel the need to upgrade to SCAL2 but I feel that I am missing some good files. I don't create anything in SCAL, only cut. All my creating/tracing is done in INK. Once you create a scut in SCAL2, it is not compatible with 1. One day I will probably upgrade or change systems altogether because I would prefer a print-cut system like the KNK.
