Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. The background would be awesome but not totally neccessary. I can't wait to get home from work and try it out.

In for a penny. Since I spent a lot of time failing at this and then G did such a fantastic job on her take I decided to use it and keep going.

Not finished yet, problem with the A in waters but I went ahead.

Faye, what do you want to do with it? Do you want to cut out all the pieces or just print the design and cut around it?

This has been fun and all the talented folk who participated makes me proud to be a member of this forum. You all are super, especially our G for getting the ball rolling.

Thanks.

oh, PapaSue, I love the background! Would you mind sharing just the background Wood texture? Or even how you did that?!?!

The file I created is in MANY layers for a paper piecing. Some it I wasn't particulary happy with, but you can always tweak it once it is cut out (the letters for Muddy Waters wouldn't off set the way I wanted them to!)

For the southern grill text, I used BankGothic LT Bt, and then just adjusted the S and the G to get rid of the extra line (Serif).

The lights at the top may not cut out very well for the brackets as that is really thin, so you may need to do that by hand too or something else.

But if we knew what you were going to use it for, then we can adjust our designs! (vinyl vs paper pieceing vs print N cut)

Hope it works out for you!

Happy to share the board background. I googled old fence wood and found a building suppliier who had a pix on his site, grabbed it and imported it into Inkscape. I moved the design on top of it and lowered the opacity of the design until it showed the boards through it.

It should print nicely, although I haven't done it, but I haven't finished the design so that you/Faye could cut pieces. Another bit of work so we will wait until she answers about how she wants to use it.

Want to see the final tho no matter whose design gets used. I enjoyed doing it.

This is awesome!! You ladies are so talented. I want to cut an SCUT2 file and to put on a mug or tumbler for the owner of the restaurant. I sure wish I knew how to do this kind of work. This is great. Thank all of you so very much.

Faye, you are a terrific person, you've responded quickly to questions, you even changed the title.

I'm sure our designers will figure out a way to make the design cut in vinyl or as a stencil or if you have another idea please tell us.

Thanks for the quick reply.
