Wow! I am SOOO glad I bought SCAl 2 when I did (around 2 weeks ago). This has been my first experience at life outside of the bug and I suddenly feel like the chains fell off and I am free! I have all these wonderful creative options now. I don't have money for a new cutter yet but am trying to save a little each week towards one. I will not be updating my E or my gypsy until then though that's for sure. I know if I update my gypsy it won't work with the E until I update E and I am NOT willing to do that and lose my SCAL ability.

Any ideas on which cutter is better for the least amount of money? I wonder if the other cutters will be coming down in price now that so many of us are looking to buy them. Basic supply vs demand would say no, they would only get more expensive but with mass production could the opposite would come true?

Another thought... why does PC demand that only PC products get to be cut on PC machines? When I buy a pair of scissors they don't demand that I ONLY cut their paper with them! It's my dang cutter! I should be able to cut whatever the heck I want to with it. I personally don't think it's legal that they can do that. They are just a bunch of big ol' bullies being backed by daddy's money (BOA). Oh I'm SOOOO ticked off!!!! I personally am praying to God that they get exactly what they deserve from Linda McClure.

You Can still download the software if have already purchased it and need a new copy. Go to the download page and it states "If you purchased version 1 or version 2 and need the installer, please go to the Lost Software Installer Page."

Before we send everyone to that link. Is that the current version of SCAL updated? And will they be able to update if they buy now to the latest version? Just asking. I'm fine. I just hate to see people run over and purchase and then find it's the oldest version with no ability to update to at least the last available version.
