Have a great idea. My father-in-law turns 90 in April. We are having a celebration dinner and I have been checking he forum for ideas to create favors for the guests (love the boxes I've been seeing) and your shirt made me think that maybe I can make one for him with a kind of timeline on it of key events years in his life. Now I'm inspired. Thank you.

I like this idea! My mother turns 80 this year and we are having a party for her, so the time line will be great for this.

Thanks for posting your idea!

Thanks, everyone. Yes I just put them on with a regular iron. You need to wash the shirts first. I did another shirt for my son a while back and it has been washed and dried several times and it is still great. I bought shirts at Hobby Lobby for $2.00 each yesterday on sale. The HTV vinyl is not too expensive so you don't have too much money invested in them.

Ordered my vinyl today.

Now for the next hurdle - trying to decide which design or saying to put on them!!

Ahh I'm so sad, we don't have Hobby Lobby in CA. I was just in AZ this past weekend and drove by a Holly Lobby but never had time to go back and shop. Darn it! I knew I was missing out. :x

Checked out Hobby Lobby on-line (our closest one is about 40 minutes away) so will either drive there or order on line. Thanks for the info and inspiration.
