I use Pazzles mats. They are super sticky and stay sticky for a long time! When they do eventually get fibers on them, I wipe them really hard and well with baby wipes and let air dry...then they are good as new. They really do last lots longer than cricut mats. They cost a bit more, but are so worth it. One thing you will need to do though, is cut just one side of the mat so that it is the same size as the cricut mat.

I wash the mats with warm water, let them drive, and apply repositionable glue (just a bit).

HA! Just kidding! I'm sure your typo meant "dry"... 
I use quilt basting spray... just a little shot here and there... I don't mask the edges (I probablly should) but I don't get crazy with the glue on the edges...

Where can you buy xyron temporary adhesive 9" cartridge and repositionable adesive spray?

I tried ordering 12 x 12 mats from Joanne's online and they were out of stock. They haven't had them in the store for months either. I was going to drive out to Hobby Lobby but ended up buying 12 x 24 from Archivers for only $3 more. I'll cut them in 1/2 and get 4 mats!

If you have a walmart near you .. you can buy them there also.... I purchase them for 12 dollars for 2 mats.. I even pay 10 dollars for 2 blades at walmart.. cheaper than MIchaels as at our Michaels we can't use coupons on Provo Craft Items.. Really sux..
