can't open svg design studio overrides the import into scal

When I open scal and then import svg the file open won't open and instead it pops up opening in design studio. The files I download save as svg files but also have the design studio logo next to them. What am I doing wrong? help!!!!

It sounds like you have your SVG files associated with the design studio software. Try right clicking on the file and when the window pops up, see what program it wants to use to open the file. If it is showing DS, try changing it.
