can someone help create a silohuette of a cottage, forest scenery, with deer and bear for a glass block light? i have the zip files. i created a design in my SCAL, but i can't get it into inkscape to make it look like a silohuette. i am not that educated on inkscape to do it yet. i understood that once you make it in SCAL, then you can not put it in inkscape? any help is appreciated. thanks
I am sure once someone creates it, then alot will want it on here

Re: help me create a scenery
Try clicking on each piece in your SCAL design and selecting blackout style. It should work but isn't always reliable, especially for complex images.
If you have to go from SCAL to Inkscape, you could take a screen shot of the layout in SCAL and import that bitmap into Inkscape to autotrace or use as a guide for rebuilding it from scratch in Inkscape.

That depends on whether you have a PC or a Mac. On a PC, press the printscreen button and it should put the screen capture on your clipboard ready to paste into Inkscape (I use a Mac and can't paste into Inkscape, so I don't know whether that works on a PC or not) or save to a new paint document for later import to Inkscape.
On a Mac press shift-command-3 to save the screenshot named Picture 1,2,3, etc. to your desktop. Then import it from Inkscape.
