Help! Need We're Engaged letters

Post by Candie5601 »

Help!

I am new to creating files. I am in need of a file that says :

We're Engaged

I have the original Cricut (mat size is 6 x 12. It doesn't have to be that big, but it will be going on a large bullentin board at work. I want it to be noticed for a co-worker. I would like the words to be welded together as one, so when I take it off the paper it is one pieced of paper like the Happy Birthday on Beyond Birthdays. I would like it to be in some kind of script font or something pretty.

Can anyone help me. I downloaded a file from here I think, that had a bunch of phrases, but could not get them broke up in Inkscape to print out.

I have attached the file that I downloaded. The font is okay.

Thank you very much. I am just learning how to do things with my Cricut.

All the designs and stuff people post on here are awesome. The help everyone gives is great too. Cricut owners are the best!

And another...it's a thin font, so it seems to be best to cut at shadow - "1" an outline could be done using shadow blackout.

Thanks... this one is great too.... I will print them both out and take them to the office and let the other girls pick which one.

I just love my Cricut!

My hardest part is welding. I am using SCAL and not quite sure if I am doing something wrong. I will look for a tutorial on how to do it.

One day I will be able to do this.

Yal are the greatest. If you ever need anything, I maybe able to help.. let me know.

ooh... thanks!! I'm engaged & working on a engagement mini album too, so this is very helpful

for the last post, do you need the font to use the file? If so, what is the font?

Thank you, again :)

If you look at the picture of the second "were engaged", down in the lower right hand corner is the Font Box for SCAL. The font looks like Ewardian Script.

As was mentioned it is the Edwardian script...the file was done in Inkscape so I could create extra connections for some of the letters but the font is beautiful and elegant just thin-lined...but you don't need the font to cut the file I created.
