Inkscape filters not transferring to SCAL3

I have created an svg file that I want to use as a background for an invitation. It is a bunch of swirls that I have applied several filters too. It looks really cool. When i import it into SCAL3, none of the filters are there?

Alas you cannot import the filters/shadows/patterns you create in Inkscape into SCAL…. it has been on my wish list for years.

You can convert your Inkscape file to a bitmap (jpg or png) to print or use "place image" in SCAL to place the bitmap on your SCAL mat to print/cut.
