Ecal - How to see multiple pages tabs

Post by LeslieZee »

I am setting up a project that has many pages, over 20. I can see the tabs for only about 10 of them across the top. I cannot figure out how to move to the hidden ones. Anyone know how this works?

Leslie, I don't know the specific answer to your question about more pages but I do know that crafters have had problems with too many pages as SCAL and/or your computer is most likely to run out of memory with a file that would be that size.

Can you explain why you need so many pages...does each page only have one element on it? is that one element taking up the entire mat surface? Perhaps there is a different way to accomplish your goal if we understood the project needs. Perhaps having two files or 10 pages each might work depending on how many elements are on one page.

Also, which version of SCAL are you using and on what cutter?

Or, use your layers panel and group several objects together so you can open and close the layers you want to work with, but still keep them organized through grouping.

Just another thought.

in scal3 under cutter is preview all pages don't know if that is in ecal and not 100% sure it would work as I don't use more than one or two pages, I would use layers or make it into three or four files and cut like pieces (same group cut from same media/colour)
