Does anyone know how to change the settings so that when I double-click on a svg file it will open in E-Cal?
I have to open E-Cal and then import the svg.
Thanks for any help.

I don't think that you can since you import svg files and don't even have the option of svg in the Open Project dialog. You can click on them to open them in Inkscape and then send them to eCAL though.

There are several "export" plug ins that you can install to export directly to SCAL/eCAL available here.

The one I use is from Inkscape to eCAL and when I select export to eCAL it will open eCAL with the image. Works well and fast.
