Hi! I just got a new Cricut, it has firmware version 1.31 on it. I have updated my scal software to 1.016, but it says I have to have Cricut firmware 1.3 How can I fix this so I can use scal?

I have some designs I want to share with a friend - she wants them in SCUT form. If she doesn't have the SVG's, will her computer be able to read the SCUT file? They don't include any fonts, just designs.

That's for version 1.015, the newest version is 1.016. It doesn't say what the update is for with this version.

Does anyone know what is new with Version 1.016?

Do I need to update my firmware to the newest version before I install the new SCAL update, or can I just keep running it with 1.1?

Having it on two different computers won't help; because of the firmware in the cricut itself.
The firmware needed for SCAL is 2.1, and DS needs updating to 2.3, which blocks SCAL.

I have 2 bugs, I use the baby for crops. I was thinking about using it with DS but not anymore.

I love, love, love SCAL! It's been worth every penny to me. I just have the 2 cartidges that came with my cricut, and have only use DS to upgrade my firmware. I thought about buying it and installing it on my PC, as I use SCAL on my laptop. But I don't believe I will be doing that now, as I'm not to...
