We do have rhinestones. I don't have ecal...but Scal3 is the same I think...and it is under Object Rhinestones. I don't know how the lattice feature you speak of works...but it is so easy with basic shapes, copy paste, give it a flip and union and bingo you would have lattice. Easy swirls...scal ha...
