Craft Edge

I went on google and found a hebrew font that I liked, it was called Dejavu Sans. I downloaded it, extracted the zip and when I went to use it with SCAL all there was were english letters, is there something I have to press?
any help would be appreciated!

I thought I was canceling the first image, I followed the videos and moved the second image over....I'll try again but it wouldn't even let me trace my second image at all...

I live in Atlanta but would be willing to travel to learn how to use SCAL!!!!
Please let me know if you live within an hours drive. I am watching all the videos but somehow my brain isn't getting it!!!
