I got an E for Christmas - RED. so excited but scared to switch cuz afraid i'll need to update or something and then all will go haywire. Does anyone have both hooked up at the same time to your computer and what would i need to do that??? Not that i can or have the space - just wondering. Hope all had a Merry Christmas.

My friend got a green E right after Thanksgiving, and it worked with my SCAL just fine, no updates needed! Have fun!

Hi, I can't speak to having to upgrade the firmware but I can tell you that I have both the Baby and the E and I just move the USB cable from one to the other when I want to use the BABY.

You also then need to select which one you are using when you go to cut.

That's all I had to do.

Thanks guys. Maybe i will get up the nerve to "unhook" my baby for a try on the E.

Once on the E, you probably will never go back to the little one. I outgrew my baby bug within the first month but am keeping it just in case of E failure. This machine is the best investment I have ever made! I use it almost daily. "My name is Linda and I have E addiction" and I don't want any intervention!
