Craft Edge

I have upgraded to SCAL2 and have also upgraded my cricut firmware to version 1.34. When I get my project complete, I go to the cut shortcut and the screen goes to checking mat and that's as far as it goes. When I retry cutting, SCAL closes down and my projects are lost.
Can anyone tell me if you have the same problem, or perhaps what I might be doing incorrectly?

What operating system are you using? My baby bug has 1.34 firmware and I have successfully cut with XP, but I haven't been able to cut with it using Windows7 64 bit.

I have had this happen when I am not using a primary USB port on my computer. It is picky about that.
