SCAL2 and Windows 7

I thought it would be good for Windows 7 and SCAL2 users to post their experiences, tips and tricks for those of us trying to get them to work together. Any help would be appreciated.

We only started using SCAL2 on Windows 7 last night but so far I have no complaints. We're running Windows 7 as a guest OS under OSX using VirtualBox (free virtualization software), which basically means we run windows inside Mac OS. Our configuration may vary a decent amount from somebody who is running Windows 7 directly on hardware (most windows users).

I find, with w7 I am having alot of freezing up problems with the software that i did not have before. I have to start task manager to exit program. Not sure why, when I have more time will send craftedge a email.
