This is in layers. I hope this works. I spent a lot of time on this. If the Top layer doesn't cut, I suppose the lines could be drawn in with a pen. I just added a file that is divided on 1 page and later on in this post, I have this file posted with the three colors separated with a 1" control box on each page.

Absolutely stunning! Unfortunately, it did not open for me. Did anyone else have problems opening it?

Here. Try this. I opened up the XML and there was a lot of stuff in there that didn't look kosher. I see you originally created the file in Illustrator. There were a lot of things in the "i" namespace, and a bunch of Illustrator specific elements. Something in there must have confused SCAL.
I can't even get my cleaned up version to open on my Mac with SCAL1 or SCAL2 - they both crash.
It's quite possible Illustrator is putting a bunch of stuff in the file that throws SCAL for a loop.
FWIW, in Inkscape I did a "Save as..." plain SVG to try to trim out any of the Illustrator craziness. Still caused my Mac SCALs to crash.

So I had to bring this back into my photo program as a bitmap.. and then save to jpg and then bring back to inkscape and resave as svg.. I really like it Todd .. It's beautiful.. So now it works in SCAL2 for me..

I just downloaded this file on my PC here at home and I had no problem importing the file into SCAL 2. I wonder why some computers have problems and some don't?

Still freezes on my SCAL with Jasens file... Like I said I saved as a bitmap and then opened it in my photo program and then brought it back to inscape and it works like a charm after tracing image...

Under the preferences tab, try setting the SVG DPI to 72 Illustrator and not Inkscape and see what happens.
