cocoa mug w/ no handle

I can't figure out how to get rid of the handle on the cocoa mug svg can someone help me out here ?
I just want the cup shape, no handle.

Here you go - I just took it into Illustrator (or you can use Inkscape) and deleted the handle and joined the points.
I cut it and it works fine.
These are so cute - I may make these for my son's holiday party.

I opened it in inkscape, but for the life of me could not figure out how to get the handle gone ! I guess I need to spend more time playing with that program
Or drink a beer before trying next time
