Cricut Firmware Update 1.34

I have the smaller Cricut machine and wanted to know whether anyone has been able to update theirs to the current firmware version (1.34). Does SCAL 2 still work with this update? Any information/help would be appreciated!

A few have updated theirs and have no problem with it.
