NEED HELP CONVERTING PDF IMAGE INTO SVG!!!!!!

I HAVE A PDF IMAGE THAT I HAVE OPENED UP IN INKSCAPE BUT WHEN I DO TRACE BIT MAP IT DOESN'T SHOW UP IN THE LITTLE BOX. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I AM DOING WRONG PLZ....?

Kristin,
Many PDFs contain vectors, not bitmaps, which is good news because they don't need to be traced, just ungrouped and saved as an svg. Sounds like this is the case with yours since it didn't trace. Heather has a great tutorial on her blog about handling PDFs
