Craft Edge

Sorry if this has been asked before I am so very new to all of this and the search feature brought up a million pages with nothing to do with my issue! When I try to cut something in SCAL it shows ovals...kind of in an odd number 8. It cuts those ovals too. They do not however show up in inkscape. Anyway to fix this?

Are you using SCAL2 with an SVG file? If you are, then you probably have shapes that haven't been converted to Path. If that didn't help, you might want to post the file.
