Craft Edge

hi all, I've got version 0.46 with the new bit allowing us to open 'pdf' files
problem is ... how do i select an image off the 'page' and delete the writing around it ?
I have clicked the arrow tool and pointed to the top left edge of the picture i want then I've dragged a square round it , but when I look at the bottom of the screen it says that I haven't selected anything ????
wot am I doing wrong
any help appreciated

First try double clicking on the image to see if you can move it. If you can then select the writing and hit delete on your keyboard.
