Craft Edge

Could someone please tweak this image for me or direct me to a tutorial where I can do it myself in Inkscape. I would like the connection between the two crosses broken. I would like to be able to black out the image in SCAL but because the two crosses are connected it comes out solid and not as 3 distinct crosses.

Is this what you wanted? I seperated the 2 crosses and did a blackout of the image. the svg file has both the outline (corrected version) and the blackout. HTH
