Craft Edge

I was playing with the star and I made it into some weird looking flower thingy and I cant get it back to a normal star. I Closed the program went back in and even uninstalled and re installed. The funky flower still pops up when I click the star tool. What have I done?

SCAL 1 or 2?

inkscape .46 is what I was playing with.Scal is fine I was just learning some design stuff from inkscape tuts and got it all screwed up LOL

I went into inkscape and my settings for the star are spoke ratio: 0.382, rounded 0.100

sounds like you may have been in the default.svg file, because that is where it goes to each time you start a new svg file.

There is an icon in the top toolbar that looks like a paint brush that appears when a tool is selected. If you click on that the tool will reset to the default. The tools usually keep the settings that were used last.

Thanks Heather that did it. I guess program illiterates should just stick to the basics and not PLAY!! LOL

But playing is how we learn.

Good thing I learn from my mistakes LOL. I watch teh tuts with inkscape open so I can follow along. It works great that way for me. I am a show me dont make me read it kind of person!
