Craft Edge

Hi all-

I have watched video tutorials to no end and still can't get this file to convert to a paper piecing that I can use. Would anyone be willing to help me out? My son wants this to be his cover on his school binder....I have wasted countless pieces of paper and hours and hours of time. I just wanted a black base and then use yellow, green, blue and white to paper piece the rest of it.

Am I waisting time on something that isn't even doable?

Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Here is a good start. I pretty much have it cleaned up and pieces are somewhat grouped by color. I think you just need to take it into Inkscape and separate the colors for cutting. Maybe move some pieces for less paper waste. Please let me know if you need more help with this. HTH

Finally finished....wish that we could have spent more time on it...but with school starting tomorrow and one little boy who was bound and determined to design his notebook I think that it turned out pretty good.
