Newbie on the go

Hi, My name is Carla. I have been using CDS since the beginning but became fed up with Provocraft for not giving us proper updates, so I bought scal this week. What a great program it is, but I have one problem. I run it under Vista and it keeps locking up. Can anyone advise me about it?
Also, I have already placed some scutfiles I made yesterday on my blog:

Have you tried changing to XP compatibility mode?

Carla,
I just love your blog, I left a comment by your AWESOME Hot Off the Press Folding Flower look-alike... and I can't wait to see if you can change some nesties into scut files someday! All I can say is Wow; I have the templates to trace and hand cut the flowers and gave up after one very long evening!
