Problem with Version 2 - any soulutions

Is anyone having problems when they open version 2. I downloaded the upgrade and when I open it all I get are the frames on the boxes not the insides or toolbars. I am running Vista 64bit (version1 works fine) on a laptop with 4gigs of ram. On my desktop comp I run XP and it opens frames with parts of the inside. I want to play so bad and have yet to here back from Todd. Anyone have any solutions until Todd gets back to me?

Right click on the icon, go to properties, and click on compatablility, try running it emulating, by checking the
run this program in compatability mode for windows xp.

Did you get SCAL2 to work with Vista 64bit? My DH is looking at replacing my laptop with it, and I want to be sure that SCAL2 will work with 64 bit. TIA

i just love it when hubbys want to do something like that. Mine is a 32 bit. My hubbys is a 64 bit and I don't have it on his laptop. When it actually comes to cutting he makes me do it.

He won't even consider 32 bit. Later today I will try it with one of his computers that is running Vista 64 bit. Hope for the best.

Good news for anyone considering Vista 64bit! I changed the compatability to XP service pack 2 and it works fine with both the baby bug (firmware 1.3) and the E (firmware 2.31). The bad news is that I can only use the trial mode, it says that I have activated too many copies. Bummer since it's a holiday weekend and I don't expect to hear from CE before Tuesday.

Gotta love CE customer support! I got a new activation on Saturday of a holiday weekend! Back in business.
