Hi all,

This is the third time I've tried to post this so here goes . . . again. I'm a newbie here although I have been lurking for a couple of weeks enjoying all of the wonderful talent of everyone here. Thank you! My question is . . . how do you save a SCUT file as a JPG file. I need to email a Stick figure family that I designed for my cousin for her approval before I cut it in vinyl. I appreciate any help at all!

Thanks in advance,
Pam :D

If you designed it in SCAL and just want it to send for approval, take a screen shot of your virtual mat and send that. The easiest way to do that depends on your operating system.
If you used Inkscape to create your files, see my tut here on exporting images from Ink. http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... =17&t=5402 HTH

Thanks Heather..... now one more question if you are familiar with Windows Vista . . . Is there a built in ap that does that? If so where do I look to find it? This is a new computer and I am not used to Vista yet and I looked but didn't see anything. I appreciate your help so much!

Thanks!
Pam :-)

I use Vista and just save the image in Paint. In my vista, Paint is under Start -> All Programs -> Accessories-> Paint. Once you do the printscreen, you can paste in Paint and save it as a jpeg/jpg.

I don't have Vista (yet), but see DeliaCM's post here for more on the snipping tool. http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... pping+tool

Thank you both for the replies and the help.

Heather I checked out the info on the snipping tool and it worked! Yay! Thank you soooo much for leading me there! You're a doll!

Thanks again!
