Ok, now I am REEEAAALLY getting upset

I just tried to test my E with SCAL, and IT doesnt recognize it either....so, I have 2 machines, CDS and SCAL and cannot use any of it.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 
and this is after I updated the firmware on the E...CDS doesnt recognize my baby bug...
I really want to learn this program, but it seems like there is always a roadblock in my way...I think I have a dark cloud over me that just wont leave me alone....
