Inscape and paper doll cards...

So I have been learning how to work with nodes, curves, etc. to create hairstyles and outfits for my gals. The inscape work isn't perfect yet, I still have to do a little sissor work but not as much as I thougth I would have to! If there is one thing I have learned for sure that is fewer nodes the better. Am I correct in that?
Here are two more I did. I am not so happy with the sparkly black card (I should have chosen a different background) however, I am really happy with the results of the "gossip girls". It is very simple and clean but I think it works... or I am too scared to ruin it by experiement too much! LOL! I appreciate this forum so much as I am learning a ton from all of you. I hope you don't mind that I pop on a few cards here and there so you can see how much you all inspire newbies!
