opening scal

When I launch scal...it takes almost 1 minuete to open program...is this normal

Mine opens fairly quick. How old is your computer? Do you have a lot of programs on your computer? Close all programs on your computer then try it again to see what happens.

My computer is only 6 months old....all other programs are closed...still same thing. I can live with it...but everything else I use opens up right away

Have you used lib it up to create your own libraries? this will slow the loading of SCAL way down. One of the reasons many of us don't use it.
