Ok, I don't know if anyone knows what a Pazzles is, but it is similar to the cricut except it doesn't use cartridges, only the computer files. Well they have a tool that holds pens, they have an embossing tool, and other things the cricut doesn't. The machines are almost identical, even the mats and design of the machine look the same. Anyway I was considering buying the pen tool, but decided to hold off. Well one day while surfing ebay for a cheaper one (the Pazzles pen tool is like $40 and the Cricut gel pen holder is up to $80) I found this guy who made his own pen holder for both machines. He said his daughter uses it in her Cricut all the time and loves it. Well I bought mine earlier this week and just got it in the mail today and it works fabulously! Best part is that it is only $20 plus a few for shipping! 1/2 to 1/4 the price. I will post of pic later when I use it for a project.
Here is the url:

If anyone buys it I'm sure they will love it. I'm excited about mine.

Cheaper still, use those gel grips for pencils that you can get at walmart for a couple bucks. Foohy brand.

I've been using the pencil grips for about a year now. Put them on the tiny pens sold at Staples and away you go! cheap, cheap, cheap!

Question for firstcut or kelsie94 - how do you know where to position the gel pen in the housing? And what speed and pressure settings do you use?
I bought the stuff to try it today and I got lucky the first time - but wondering if you have determined a way to mark the pen/gel cover to ensure you get it in the right depth each time you use the pens. Also, I'm assuming you just leave the gelly thing on each pen instead of trying to change them out?
My step-mom-in-law was planning to spend all that money on that new kit that is out and I'd love to be able to help her with this - but I have to do it from long distance and she is not very tech savvy. The more specific I can be - the better it works!
Thanks!

So if I understand what your talking about here, ya'll are using the mini gel pens instead of the Cricut Colors?
I hope so cause that would be GRRRRRRRREAT!!!
