Craft Edge

I have been at this all day. I can't get my image to import into scal, every time I try the box is empty. I'm using Inkscap to convert files
I m able to cut within the scal software like words and stuff but still can't get the image to appear

Most of the time when this happens it's not a svg file. You may have missed a step. Go back into Inkscape and go to outline mode and see if it a vector. If there is a big red x there it's not a svg.

Also remember that text must be converted to path (Path/Object to Path) and that it shows up as solid black letters in outline mode until it is converted to path, then it shows as an outline.
