New user needs help!

Ok so I just downloaded SCAL. My question is how do I get new TTFfiles into my SCAL "folder". I downloaded Ladybug dingbat, unzipped it, but it doesn't show up in my font list in SCAL and I can't figure out how to get it there. I have Windows Vista.

You have 'unzipped' the font but it is not yet 'installed' - - -

Also at some point you may want a font manager. This way you just click a button to install and uninstall fonts. It keeps your PC moving faster and allows you to print up a summary sheet of all glyphs in that font.
