shadowing 2 colors

Hello, I'm new to SCAL and could use some help.
I am working with vinyl and I'm making numbers for a go kart... they are 2 tone
red on the bottom and white on the top. with the circuit itself, I'd use the shadow feature
and they come out the perfect size so you can see the outline of the bottom color..
using the software, I'm not sure how to do this. I tried changing the size a little but
then the whole thing comes smaller and doesnt fit right over the other.
anyone have any tips? thank you

You have the shadow feature in SCAL too. Actually, you have more control of the shadow in SCAL since you can choose a value of 1 to 10. Select your numbers and in the Properties box there is a drop down box for the style (shadow or shadow blackout in this case) and next to it is a box where you can set how large the shadow is (1 through 10). If I understand what you are trying to do, you would do one regular and one shadowed with whatever level of shadow you want. It does work well to use a small shadow for your top layer and a larger shadow for your bottom layer if the font you want to use is too delicate or thin.
Did you move your number or cancel a cut? The only times I had cutting issues were when I moved something completely outside the yellow bounding box or canceled a cut at the machine.

Heather you saved me!!!! thank you. I justified buying the machine to my husband saying "oh I can make numbers for the go karts too"
its not just for scrapbooking.. well racing is starting and I couldnt figure out how to get the 2 tone numbers.
thank you soo much
