Hi,
For print and cut, how do you colour match scal printout to illustrator.
Illustrator is set to cmyk mode, but when printing out from scal, colours print and darker.
Does anyone know why this is, and if it can be fixed so both printer colours match.
I’ve checked colour profile for cmyk in illustrator and tried to change it to this in scal, but printout still looked same and came out dark.

Here's what you want to do so that you can print from Illustrator and have the reg marks printed, as well. Even though this is in the Zing Orbit user manual, the procedure is the same. Section 11.07:

Hi,
Thanks for this.
Sorry this is not what I meant. The registration marks print out fine and easy to do. I’m just wondering why colours of my printout are darker when they are meant to be lighter like original printout from illustrator. I was trying to see and find a way to print something out but keeping colour hue slightly lighter. I tried to pdf ai file but again colours printed from scal were dark in contrast to lighter ones from illustrator even though that both colour profiles were same.
Sorry if this makes no sense. Basically in short. Want my printout to reflect illustrator printout.i printout a copy of artwork from illustrator to
Test how colours would appear and jsut assumes that they would print out same from scal (not male colours darker).

I totally understood this in your initial post here and on FB. You want the colors to look correct... as do other Illustrator and Photoshop users. THat's why I directed you to the tutorial. You just gotta trust me on this!

It's about how you can print directly FROM Illustrator AND have the reg marks printed at the same time.
