A new card

I have been playing today (when not watching one of the Star Trek movies that was on tv) with some latice cards that I use my cricut and DS to cut.
I have changed this one to get extra room for the greeting on the card (you can see that the lattice has been interupted for the Happy Birthday). So once I had cut it I wanted to do something with it so I took the daisy flower that Tinga had posted http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3631 and then the flourish posted http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... =44&t=3103 (but cut off the leaves as I only wanted the flourish).
The Happy Birthday is a peal off sticker.
It is the first card I have made that is one colour - two different tones of green but still all green and I am really pleased with the result. Sorry photo is a bit blurry but I think you can see the finished product.

awesome card. I like the way you used the flourish as the stem.

Now I am inspired :)

Kelsie

Thank you for the comments.
I used Christmas Cheer and Plantin Schoolbook for the lattice.
If you have these carts then PM me your email address and I will email you the cut file.

All thanks to you for posting the flower earlier.
I was really pleased with how it came out, especially as I am not very good at colouring things so didn't know ifit would look bare or not without the tips of the flowers being inked.

Isn't it typical though - you make a great card when you have no one to give it to - but when you need a card you can't get any inspiration :D

Why is the picture so large that we have to scroll to see it all?
There is a way to view the picture without scrolling - right-click on it and choose View Image - but wondered what changed?
