we had bought a new USCutter, MH MK2, and it came with Pro 3 software, we are looking to do the upgrade to Pro4, but need to know if we will be getting a serial number or our old one will just be updated to Pro4, we are planning to swap computers ina few months and will need to deactive to reactive to that computer. let me know thank you

I know that some of you have asked me what are the differences in the PRO vs Regular Version. So I asked Brandon the developer of SCAL to explain some of it and this is what he said.
The Pro adds:
Extended cutting length to cut longer than 72 inches
Weeding options to easily add weeding boxes and lines
Tiling
Duplicate cutting
Cut by color
Color layer alignment
Print & Cut (Contour Cutting) USCutter models
Cut end action to go back to origin, advance a specified amount, or do nothing
3D extrude effect
Import DXF, PLT
The Pro is more meant for businesses that use the larger vinyl plotters as opposed to the smaller home/craft machines (Silhouette/Pazzles/Sizzix)
SCAL3 Pro would be the same as SCAL3 plus the Pro features mentioned above.
SCAL4 Pro would be the same as SCAL4 plus the Pro features mentioned above as well.

$99.00 (Upgrade from v1-v3)
$139.00 (Upgrade from v4)
$49.99 (Upgrade from v3 Pro only) And yes you would be getting a new SN for your new software upgrade.

Each major version (1, 2, 3, 4) has a separate serial number and each major version will install in a separate folder.
So purchasing an upgrade will give a new serial number.

I would like to upgrade to SCAL4pro, I have the SCAL3pro now where do I need to go to get the upgrade.
