.scut and .svg files

HI

Seeing as I am brand new to this scal program, I dont' understand the difference between a .scut file and a .svg file. I am finding some svg files to save, but don't know what the scut are for? any help would be great.. thanks

An svg file is a vector graphics file. A scut file is the native format of SCAL.

Also, you open scut files in SCAL, and import svg files.

Yep, "OPEN scut files and IMPORT svg files"

How do I get the scut files into my sure cuts a lot? I have them in a folder on my desktop with my svg files. I am able to import those but my scut files says unable to open. Please help!!! Thank you.

you don't import scut. Just go to file, then open, then to the scut file.
