Craft Edge

I am trying to cut this for a window decal. I can get the file in SCAL but I cant get it broken apart. I need the guns so that I can cut the barrel one color and the handle another color just like the picture. Hope that makes sense! Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!!!

I'm sorry but this image will not trace..too many stacked layers. Where is this image coming from? Perhaps the creator can help.

This is what I have finally gotten done and I don't have all the layers but I still cannot separate the barrel from the handle. Any suggestions?

Tiffany, I took a shot at it. Using the bezier tool in inkscape I drew around the stock to create another element that will overlay the original.

Then I used a copy of the stock piece and overlayed it onto the full gun and did a path/difference making two pieces. Here's both for you to play with. I'm attaching the file I played with if that would help.

BTY I put them in a new layer in your file.
