Craft Edge

I just bought the paid version of SCAL3 and when I go to print and cut it freezes to the point where I have to force quit the program, and start all over again.

I am on a Mac 10.7.5 and using a Silhouette cameo, I used this download: https://www.craftedge.com/download/download.html for Mac

I go to the print and cut screen, load the paper in the machine, tell it to detect reg marks which it does just fine but while it is detecting the reg marks the spinning beachball shows up and then after the machine has finished detecting the reg marks, there is nothing more I can do because the program is completely frozen, and I have to force quit the program to get it to stop. Then when I try again it starts all over again.

I tested it just cutting a shape and not doing the print and cut and it seems to work just fine for that so the problem seems to be somewhere in the detecting the registration marks.

I have uninstalled and then re-downloaded and installed the program twice and that didn't correct the problem.

I feel really desperate as I've paid $60 to use the program and it is unusable

Any advice or tips? Or anyone else have this happen?

PS (I've added a screen shot of where in the process this happens in case that sheds any light on the problem)

Did you ever find a solution to this problem. I was using SCAL 3 today with my Silhouette Cameo and am having the same problem. Only difference is I am on a Windows 8 computer.

I did email support and they sent me an update to download. It still crashes randomly but now it's not every time and I can get some cuts done! I just make sure to sav my project before I detect reg marks in case it crashes
