How do you separate objects in a group?

Select your object. Go to object on menu bar. Choose ungroup. If you look at your layers panel, you should see the individual ungrouped pieces.

I did what you said, The ungroup is not high lighted what's wrong ?

Did you select the artwork. Ungroup won't work if nothing is selected.

It seems like the ungroup does not highlight.
Is their a update I should do.? Every thing else seems to work.

You might try object/break apart on the selected object.

Is it an .svg you are trying to ungroup or did you put another file type on your mat, such as a .jpg.
