Why can't you balance your country out and get the rain in NSW and Queensland down to the fires in Melbourne instead of flooding yourselves out?

Thanks for the thoughts Ive had several PMs asking how we are doing.
Weve just had rain but not as bad as 200klms away.

I lived in the fire area for 10 years so seeing the TV news really hits home.
