I am so new to Inkscape and Scal. I don't know how to separate these to cut just one particular crown. Any help would be very cool! These are really great.

Open the file in Inkscape
Select the object that you want
Control C (copy)
Open a new Inkscape file from the menu or the toolbar in Inkscape
Paste the object into the new file (Control V)
Save it
Import into SCAL

This file doesn't, but some files may have the objects grouped, and you will need to ungroup them. Control A, and if the message bar at the bottom of the Inkscape window says "group", you need to ungroup. With the images selected, from the menu, Object/Ungroup. Do that until the message bar doesn't list any more groups. HTH

I love this place! Ask and you shall receive. Thank you, that was the ticket. Now, I've imported the crown I wanted and would like to cut several of them (I have a Cricut Create) how do I do that?

I hope that as I gain these little gems of knowledge, that someday I'll be able to help a newbie the way I'm being helped here! ;)

You can copy and paste in either Inkscape or SCAL. :D
