Tutorial Videos

Post by leokowal »

Hi! I'm the administrator over at SVGCuts.com. I've noticed quite a bit of traffic coming from this forum and figured I would drop by and say thanks!

Also, I wanted to inform everyone that we have some video tutorials posted on the site! It took a while to create and edit, but I think you'll find that it was worth it!

The latest one covers an overview of the Sure Cuts A Lot software for those of you who just need help "getting started".

I hope you enjoy the tutorials. We are using some awesome software to create the tutorials!

Here is the link to the newest video tutorial http://svgcuts.com/blog/?p=247

Here is the link to the tutorial archive. http://svgcuts.com/blog/?cat=4

Enjoy!

Added a new tutorial that walks you through installing a Font. I know that this is very simple, but it is a headache for some!

This tutorial covers:

* Fonts Folder Overview
* Downloading Fonts
* Zip Files / Unzipping
* Font Installation
* Testing in Sure Cuts A Lot
* and more…

Check it out! http://svgcuts.com/blog/?p=331

Thank you so much for this... I was just ready to post a link to your svg101 videos, and I see you have already done it. So many folks ask the 'beginning' questions, and most of us learn better by getting to "see and do" vs. written instructions.

Just this week I finally learned how to add font downloads and I have to remind myself to sleep so that I can go to my 'real job'! I'm still learning and your site has helped so much.

I also love how your svg free downloads of the week just added the snowflake and gingerbread man... your files are so clean and professional without any wavy or unbroken lines, so I left a comment on your site that the etsy files are well worth the purchase! OMG the dragonfly is my favorite!
